Mill

This mill could be anywhere in Germany, from the "Eifel" to the "Fränkische Schweiz", from the "Harz" to the "Black Forest". Our ceramic mill is a unique model with 36 traditional windows cut out by hand, two sash bar windows, and last but not least, a hand crafted mill wheel the light shines through. This grand ceramic house is one of our most favored made by "Leyk".

The cut outs by hand as well as the difficult hand craft painting are two real challenges for our "Leyk" collaborators.  In addition there is the half-timber work to be painted with 126  exact and fine lines on this miniature mill; as well as corner stones, staircase steps, a work-intensive side portal for the candle opening and of course the mill wheel.  The result is another unique "Leyk" model, a perfect gift idea for special occasions.  Great additions best suited for this model from our wooden figurines collection for this model would be: a little miller, donkey carrying a sack, and a miller with a wheel barrow.  Just feel free to visit our ceramic factory in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Erlbacher Str. 108 and see for yourself how we work.
